Privacy Policy

1. Information processed by the app

LiteClean is designed to perform most operations locally on your device. Depending on the feature you use and the permissions you grant, the app may access or process the following information:

• Files and storage information, including file names, paths, sizes, types, thumbnails, APK files, temporary files, log files, images, audio files, documents, and other large files. This is used to show files for review before you delete or compress them.
• Photos and media information, including image metadata, thumbnails, file sizes, and selected images. This is used for photo compression and compressed-photo management.
• Installed app and app usage information, including package names, app labels, app icons, installation information, and usage statistics where Android permits. This supports app process review and uninstall tools.
• Notification information, if you enable Notification Access, including app names, package names, notification text or ticker content, and notification time. This is used only for notification cleaning.
• Battery and device status information, including battery level, temperature, voltage, charging state, capacity estimates, network state, and screen, boot, charging, or unlock state.
• Camera flashlight control. Camera permission is used only to switch the flashlight on or off from the resident notification shortcut; LiteClean does not take photos or record video for this feature.
• Local app activity events, such as screen views, button taps, feature starts and finishes, notification clicks, and feedback submit events. In the current version, these records are stored locally for diagnostics and feature-flow consistency.
• Feedback input. The current version records a local submit event and text length; the feedback text itself is not sent to a server by the current implementation.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging and Remote Config data, when those services are active, such as app instance identifiers, push tokens, device model, app version, network state, configuration fetch information, and diagnostics required to deliver messages or configuration.

2. Permissions used

LiteClean may request the following Android permissions. You can deny or revoke them in Android settings, although related features may stop working.

• All files access or storage access: scan, display, compress, and delete files that you select.
• Usage access: show app usage, process, and uninstall-related information.
• Notification permission: show cleaning reminders and resident notifications.
• Notification access: provide notification cleaning after you explicitly enable it in Android settings.
• Camera permission: control the flashlight shortcut only.
• Foreground service, wake lock, boot completed, and related background capabilities: keep resident notifications and enabled reminders working.
• Internet and network state: support Firebase services, remote configuration, and future service connectivity.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• Scan and display junk files, large files, photos, apps, notifications, and battery information.
• Compress selected photos and save compressed copies on your device.
• Delete only files or apps that you select or confirm through LiteClean or the Android system flow.
• Show local reminders, resident notification shortcuts, and feature-entry notifications.
• Improve app stability, diagnose feature-flow issues, and maintain local analytics records.
• Deliver Firebase messages or remote configuration where applicable.
• Comply with legal, security, and platform-policy obligations.

LiteClean is not an antivirus product and does not claim to detect malware or provide security protection.

4. Data sharing

In the current version, core scan results, file lists, app lists, notification records, compressed-photo records, and local analytics events are stored on your device and are not uploaded by LiteClean's own app logic.

Firebase services may receive technical data necessary for messaging, remote configuration, and diagnostics. Firebase is provided by Google and is governed by Google's applicable terms and privacy documentation.

We do not sell your personal information. If advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or feedback-upload services are added in a future version, this policy and the Google Play Data safety disclosure must be updated before release.

5. Local storage and retention

LiteClean stores some information locally, including notification-cleaning records, compressed-photo records, app settings, reminder settings, Firebase token cache, and recent local analytics events.

You can remove local information by deleting records inside the app where that option is available, clearing LiteClean's app storage in Android settings, or uninstalling LiteClean. Files you choose to delete may be removed from your device, and compressed photos may be saved to a LiteClean output folder.

6. Your choices and controls

You control the sensitive permissions used by LiteClean. You may revoke storage access, usage access, notification access, notification permission, and camera permission at any time in Android settings.

You may also disable app reminders in LiteClean where settings are provided, or disable LiteClean notifications in Android notification settings.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect information handled by the app. Most feature data is processed locally on your device, and network communication used by platform services should use encrypted transport where supported.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

LiteClean is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through the app.

9. International users

Information may be processed in the country where you use the app and, for third-party services such as Firebase, in locations where those providers operate. Technical processing may therefore occur outside your country or region.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal information. Because most LiteClean data is stored locally, deletion can usually be exercised by clearing app data or uninstalling the app. Contact us for other requests.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will display a new last-updated date, and material changes should be disclosed in the app or store listing where required.
